AH HAAA,,,We have a success story on our hands!Already started the painting and now you have a burner,,,Gee ,what's a fellow to do,,,darn,,guess you're 'gonna have to go and carve another bird,or two!I'm so glad your wife thinks you're crazy,,now mine will have some company.Go ahead rattle on,you don't know how happy I am right now.For me,this is what it's all about.A new carver,a new tool, and ALL THE POSSIBILITIES,,good for you.

Man,,,I just can't stop grinnin,,Thanks you really made my day!

Juhani-Glad to see your all excited but
if your burner has no Tempurature control be careful it does not get to hot and burn all your detailing.
you may want to build yourself a reostat using a plug & a dimmer switch to control the temp.(Perhaps someone on the board can provide you with wiring diagram)
another thing that i did was to thin down the tip i was using.

that would be cool! I did notice last night when I was playing with it that it would sink quick if I wasnt careful.
