I also recommend doing a search on several different search engines using varied terminology.......and check back fairly often. The main thing I am looking for on the web are photos for reference.

I am trying to get a falcon finished (not sure yet if it will be a peregrine or gyr). Yesterday, I did a search on google and yahoo using peregrine, gyr, and falcon. Most sites were on all; but, there were a few differences in each. Most of the photos were just new positions, etc. of ones I already had found, so I ignored them. But, just posted very recently were some superb close-ups of a gyrfalcon's head. They were posted because the photographer was fascinated with blood showing on the beak. But, they are fantastic for me as reference because they are the best close-ups I have found of the face and beaks. Positioning of the camera was perfect to show the point on the upper mandible and the curvature of the lower mandible and how it fits into the upper.

It's impossible to get too many references.
