Thanks guys for the nice comments and suggestions.

Mel: I can't honestly say how long it took to do since it did get put on hold with packing and moving here, then getting settled here. It seems that I had something like 6 weeks to get it done for a show in Sept., but then I made this move, didn't get to go to the show, etc. So I'm guessing that it has been a WIP since August 1st'ish. Finished Oct.15th.
Anyway, it is entirely one piece of wood. Only the antlers were done separate.

Stacey: WHAT show in Boise in March??? I have been trying to find some shows locally, but nothing could I find. Please let me know.

they have have BIG show in March , you can try looking up these people in the phone book, Vic Otto, Ted Smith. both are world class carvers so you should fit right in with them.
