IMHO (very humble) the branch overpowers the bird a bit and I don't think I like the brass (?) footing of the branch.
But, who am I to talk? I could fly before I could carve a bird. |

| | Re: Eastern Bluebird Thanks for the comments. I have been so busy with shows this fall that this is actually the first piece I have gotten done since November. The base is a piece of weathered sassafras wood.

This carving is what we over here call's "soothing" (dunt know if you guy's use expresions like that) to look at.
Very nice work indeed.
Did you use an stone for the texturing on the breast/back area?
