Eagle with painted eyes

I finally finished up my brother's eagle and thought I'd share him with you. I decided on painting the eyes instead of using glass ones. I really worried about it but am pretty pleased with the results. (Although, in person they are very 'high gloss', for some reason they don't show up that way in the picture!)

I got a break, hubby's latest Game News magazine had an eagle on the cover, close up view, that's what I followed! Hope you like him....and that Kevin does too!!
