Default eagle bust

I started this eagle head as a cane for my dad. After I started to work on it and it was taking form, I noticed a crack in the wood. So now I am going to make it into a, bust. This is one of the first things I have carved other then my fish and decoys that I make. I added a picture of two frog decoys that I am working on too. I have been trying to lay out the feathers and eye placement. I must say this site has made me want to try some new things. This eagle has been fun this far. I hope that the pictures show up. If not I will keep trying.

The eagle is looking good. But I really like the frog lures. The stylized pattern and the grain in the wood really "pop". You should design a scene to put them in instead of letting a fish take a bite out them

Thanks Joy, The frogs are going to be for a decoy competition in September In MN. The next step with them is to add copper fins and lead in the bottom so it can swim in a circle. When I make any thing for competition I make two. Then I take the best of the two, and have the other for sale on my table at the show. I think I have the picture of the first frog that I made.
