Default Downy Woodpecker

Just a quick pic of a Downy I'm working on. This shows it basically roughed out with feather groupings sort of 'gouged' in there.

Even without the colors, Mark, I can see this little guy working over my suet feeder!

Refresh my memory....how many are you carving in this series?
how do you choose which birds to carve?

Do you have a display of all the ones you have carved so far...or are they already in customer's hands?

Nice beginning Marc ..... have a real model at my feeder for the past week, a mom and dad and baby. Sure are pretty.

I'm curious Marc,
The peg board, is it used as a dust collector, holder for your work or something else?

Thanks everyone! Joy, The lady has changed her mind recently and is going to go a little slower in having all of these created for her, but she had mentioned 24 different pieces in the beginning. But pretty much my choice in what to carve when. Just have to go off of what she wants of course. xsailor, The holes are part of the dust collection system I designed and built for my carving. I've been asked to give some details about that and need to here soon as it works awesome.

Marc,
I would like very much to see you specs on your dust collector. I made a lap collector and not really happy with it and looking to improve or replace it. The squirrel cage fan I bought really isn't powerful enough. If you don't mind please include your fan specs when you find the time write. Thanks
