Hi Errol -- I'm the picky one here ... ... I feed downys and hairys (plus red bellies and even some pileateds!).
Well, I think your downy is quite good looking. That's a lovely wood carving!
That's a great looking "pecker"! Had a pair of those hanging around the feeder for about a month, with a chic, taking turns feeding it. Great work on capturing the lovely bird.
