Default Dolphins at play

I am working on a new way to speed up my picture resizing and prep for sending. The dolphin carving has been around for a few years. I took a scrape of maple that had a neat grain wave in it for the larger dolphin. Had I known is would turn out as it did I would have used a larger piece and done a full sized one. But, this is one of the early learning pieces I did.

Thanks for the kind words. I'll get it right now, Gary, Tiger stripe maple it will be. Not "wavey grained."

That is a beautiful piece John. That figured maple is something. Did you power carve this?
