great looking sign. Lots of work but surely one to display with honor and pride. I like the tie-in of the blue in the bird--and the blue in the background.

Hi Donna and Mateo,

Thanks to you both for looking at my sign, and for your kind words. This was my first real attempt at carving incised letters, and with a little help from a Chris Pye column, it seems to have come out pretty well, if I do say so myself.
