Hello Erol,

What a great array of birds. I've thought about carving birds and after seeing all yours, I may just try one.

Thanks for posting the pics.

HUMmmmmmm Only 5 sold, Errol nice as your bird cavings are my friend, you should have sold most of them! That too is why I carved some little items for my up coming show on the 3rd wk end this month. Did you sell your wren?? I really like wrens,I have a nest of two baby wrens in a cedar bird house I bought last year,I didnt hang it,just set it on the arm of my wooden swing on my shop porch and now the wrens are there which is really neat!! Thks for your show post! Forrest

Errol, your carvings are great ther presentations really compliment your well carved birds. My wife and I were planning an RV cross country road trip and wanted try to see how many of you great carving folks we could meet along the way. We all know how it is,the gas prices as they are put damper on all of our long planned road trips. Oh well folks when you think," life
has handed you a bunch of lemons, make lemonaid". Gives me time to count of my blessings which are so many.

As fellow bird carver, Errol thanks for sharing your bird carvings, job well done.
Oscar

Thanks everyone for your nice compliments. Boy!! was it hot!! Saturday was cut short because of a rain storm at 2:30, Sunday was a short day only 5 hours and of course people's money is tight right now with everything going up in cost. So 5 birds I thought I was lucky, least price was $70.00 and the highest price sold was $190.00 ! This was my first show for I have been selling most in the campgrounds as we traveled. I do hope to meet some of you Carvers in my travels one day. Forrest I'll probably be in your part of the country around the fall. So will give you a call. thanks all
Errol
