Nice work. Good composition and story telling. The "look" of the bear and and the wolves are spot on. No mistaking that dished in face and hump on the Griz. Ears back, tail tucked, haunches lowered...that's wolves under stress for sure. The rack on that elk would probably go in the record book...'course, I might just "collect" little ones. :-) All-in-all...a wonderful carving. Thx for sharing it.

Thanks to all for your encouragement and remarks. Mark,fur was done with burning tool. Took quite a while but came out nice. And A Thank You to who ever put this in the right listing. And all patterns came from-A WOODCARVER'S WORKBOOK #2-BY Mary Duke Gulden.
