Your Cinnamon teal is is a beauty.Im sure you wont be able to keep it in your collection long.Teals are my personal favorite ducks.
Thank you for the mention on my Widgeon Im trying to push the limits of what is being done with a decoy that is carved in cork.Who has been your biggest infuence in your painting technique? What paint brand are you useing ?
Ive noticed your decoratives are meticulously painted,i see alot of color transition and muted feather centers do you wet blend or airbrush them?
whatever it is your doing to achive the final effect is awesome.
The Widgeon is in private collection now and the RB Merganser is on public display in Detroit at the Bass Pro Shop.My decoy carving is limited to commission work for the next 3 months so it will be a while till I can start work on the Northern Loon I want to do.The loon will be a show piece Ive been dreaming of loons alot I must go visit Moosehead Lake,ME, soon to recharge my batteries I hear the loons calling .
