Default Chickadee Finished today

Heres a chickadee I finished today .I dont carve alot of nonduck birds so carvings a beak was a nice break.

The carving and painting on the bird is fantastic. But, the base adds a lot of interest to the overall piece. Well done!!

the branch is designed with a mounting protrusion approx 1/2 in the bird has a corresponding hole drilled in bottom and just fits over the wire.
I made the branch its twisted wire in sets of 3 and epoxy applied over the frame.
