Default carved birds-picts

On the 4th me and my wife went to Grandfather Mtn in Linville,NC. In the musem there was some nice carved birds,thought Id take some picts and share them with you bird carvers here on board. Course I was taken the picts through glass cases.

I enjoyed them also, I liked the Screech Owl in particular. They are all interesting, thanks.

I know all of you that carve birds and I must say,you do as good as theses and better and I wanted to show you theses birds. My wife,ask me why was I taken the picts of the birds?? I smiled and told her,the people on WCI might like to see them.She just smiled. So it was more than worth it for me seeing some of yall enjoyed the picts. Forrest

thanks Forrest! The pics bring back good memories. I have been to Grandfather mtn many times. I have pics somewhere of the building of the parkway around the mtn. hope to meet you maybe this fall on my annual visit to the Roan
