Hi Maryjo; I thought your request might be difficult to fill, but low and behold my index shows that Wood Carving Illustrated (WCI) has at least three cat patterns in back issues and one pattern under the free patterns menu, called Caribbean Cat. I've looked at all my issues of WCI and they all look like excellent patterns to try. First was a caricature cat pattern in WCI 2000 issue 12 page 16, by Art Shoemaker, I don't think there is a pattern available on line. Second is a pattern called China Cat in WCI 2003 issue 22, this is a stylized cat but you might be interested again not on line. Third was a Cat refrigerator magnet by David Sobol in WCI 2004 issue 27, this article is on line here on the WCI web site under "past articles", Cat's Meow, is about half way down the page. The fourth pattern is as I say on the free patterns page here on the new web site, it's from the old Editors World column on the old web site, check out the menu on the left side of this sites web page for free patterns, it's near the bottom of the page. So that ought to keep you busy for awhile....I'll take a look at some other stuff I have tucked away. OG. Last edited by Old_Gord; 02-04-2005 at 11:18 AM. |
