Default building new carving bench

can someone give me some good idea on lay out for the bench if someone has any pics of theirs thanks spurg

Go to Chris' site, he has all kinds of plans etc...sure he would have something on a work bench...if you are talking about a shavinghorse or carving vise, then look at the pictures of mine on my picture trail under walking sticks.. in the meantime, I think this will keep you busy looking! http://members.cox.net/messman123/messman.htm

If you're wanting to build a bench for relief carving Desert Moon has a nice design. I copied it but instead of using wedges, I drilled it out and use 7/16 inch dowels to hold my work. There are several pictures in my photo album.
