Just fantastic - I never tried using feather inserts on a song bird before. You've just expanded my imagination horizon a few clicks!

Great step by step detail - Thanks

Larry

Ken;

Your attention to detail is amazing - I especially like the little things like showing that small birds have thighs as well, rather than drill a hole and stick the leg in. And the splits on what could only be described as side pocket transition from soft feathers to hard . . . wow! I am so learning from your piece here - It truly is realistic and certantly shows how much hard work and time (and sweat I'm sure) . . . many thanks for taking the time to photograph and share.

Larry

Ken, super bird! Thanks for sharing. I would appreciate learning the technique and materials that you use for the "branch". Thanks again. Dick
