shep, try to do a search on Google images for the kind of dog you want, get the image and print it out, thats what most of the artistically challenged here do. its not kosher to post copywrited patterns to public forums,, it slips by occasionally but it dont make it right.. try this search result its got lots of beagle images Beagle Dog - Google Image Search

Had you seen the Basset Hound on the free patterns of this site? its not the same breed, but being still a hound it can be very helpful too if you shorten the ears and make the legs a little longer. http://www.woodcarvingillustrated.co...undPattern.pdf It can also be very helpful to look for standard of show dogs, as they sometimes have drawings explaining the exact proportions for every breed. By example, I used this page for my German Shepherd The Illustrated Standard Of The German Shepherd Dog Last edited by Tarik; 07-19-2008 at 07:39 PM. Reason: spelling |

I second Thomp's advice... Keep looking on-line. I've found all kind's of dog drawings and pictures that readily turned into patterns. In addition, there are many, many sites out there that offer patterns of animals. You just need to spend a little time looking for what you need.
