Default Barn Swallow photo

Hey guys,
I need your help. I'm heading to Iowa this weekend for a power carving workshop with Bob Guge and we're doing a barn swallow. I've gone all the way through my file drawer of patterns and reference material and I only have one small photo of a barn swallow. Anyone know where I can get other photos. I take Missouri Conservationist magazine, but I've not found one there---take Birds and Blooms and don't see one there, either. Suggestions?

Donna T

Hello Donna T, send me an e-mail and I will send you several photos of Barn Swallows. I've always wanted to do a work shop with Bob Guge, he is a good carver.

Anything that swallows a barn, I have to see also.

Thanks, guys.
All I thought of was magazines that had photos of the swallow in them...didn't think about the other searches. Thanks Hugh, for the email with the sites identified..they were great photos and they printed very clearly.

Thanks, too, Kenny, for the humor. Your bride is a saint....and I love your sense of humor, too. Never thought about the connotation of "barn swallow"--what a picture that generates!

And the google hits were great. I now have a couple of dozen different views of barn swallows--great color and detail. That ought to provide me with enough reference material to create a reasonable likeness.

I've very much looking forward to the workshop with the Guge. I'll let you know how it was...Thanks all!

Donna
