Default Barn Owls in Italy Texas

My Wife found this site on various birds nesting around the country. We have been really enjoying this mated pair of Barn Owls from Italy,Texas. It's been a real hoot watching them mate and eat rats, mice and attend their clutch of eggs. Thought you all would like this bit of nature too.

Hope that link works,

This is neat. I thought it was a still pix until she popped her head around and stood up. I'll watch over the next few days to see what hatches. Thanks for sharing.

First owlet just hatched today. Mom is keeping them warm,so you can't see much. Still pretty fun to check on once in awhile. Love to catch her eating a rat.

Little Zilla is up and about trying to eat rat. Mom is chewing it up for him, can't tell if he is getting anything down.
