Fantastic job Gordo, after looking at it I can close my eyes and still see it soaring around the cliffs. Excellent piece! Bird carver.

Hi Doc.& Randy
The Eagle was carved in one piece of tupelo the grain with the wings.The wing tips were carved by first drilling a hole between each wing tip feather and working towards the tips when you get near the tip I left a small bridge between each feather tip ultill the carving was almost finished except for painting this was done so tips would not get broken off cutting out the briges took extra care. No problems with the grain running with wings.
