Default Author of chickadee carving in last holiday issue

Misplaced that issue and was wondering if anyone can fill me in on his name? He was to release a book this year on other birds. Does anyone know if he has?? Thanks.

There was a chickadee pin carved by George Calef in the last issue. Is that what you are refering to?

To my knowledge, he does not have any other published articles. I am sure that BobD could get you in touch with him....or he may be a member and send you a message.

I should have clarified that. I meant the 2004 issue. It was a sleeping black-capped chickadee that had a horizontal hole low in the body so it can be put on your Christmas tree as an ornament. I looked in Fox Chapel's books but no names look familiar. I spoke to the man once on the type of paint he used. I am interested in his book that was to be published this year. I do not kno if the patterns in this book were to be used for ornaments or not. Thanks again. Oh, he was in the eastern U.S., possibly PA or NY. the Finn

Seems his website is closed until further notice, or it might have been his school. Wonder if there are health problems??? Hope that book is coming. I tried to bring up the contents of the books listed here at this site, but was unsuccessful. Just wanted to see what birds were listed. the Finn
