Default Attention Bird Carvers

Hello all... I've just joined this forum for one reason.. I was involved in wood carving for a few years, but carve rarely now as my passions are playing folk music, and pursuing nature photography. This leaves me little time for the wood.

During the time I was wood carving I met a number of friendly and helpful people, who gave me tips and hints and good advice.

The purpose of this post, therefore, is to pass on to someone some of the advice I received. This is in the form of a book I was given, which I haven't used and do not intend to.

The book is a Lee Valley publication entitled Championship Waterfowl Patterns, Volume Two. (Lifesize studies of North American Diving Ducks) by Patrick R. Godin. 40 pages - 14" x 20"

Included are patterns for both Drake and Hen for the following;
Goldeneye, Redhead, Canvasback, Ring-Necked, Greater Scaup, Lesser Scaup, Ruddy, Bufflehead, Barrow's Goldeneye.

I live in Toronto and would be willing to give this to someone in the area.

I'll check this post over the next couple of days to see who is interested

Hello there - I live in Thunder Bay and would love to be considered for the book. As many others, I am just starting off and could put it to good use.
Thanks
Geoff Murphy
