Hello everyone, I'm wondering if anyone knows where I can but a decent multi-position carving vise? for holding waterfowl etc while carving / burning, etc. I'd love to know where I can locate a reasonably priced vise / clamp. Thanks, Shawn |

you can get a panavise, or make one....two different plans on google, one is "Poor Mans Vise" the other is a vise made with a trailer ball....I have made both, both work fine.

I think I made both vises for less than 20.00 each...I think it was even less than that but has been several years and don't remember now!

I've made one with a trailor ball and have used it for about 20 years. I bought all the parts at Home Depot. You can see what it looks like on my website in the current projects section. The whole thing cost me about $20.00 to put together. www.sierracreekstudios.com |
