Default American Eagle

Hi Wanda, here is the pattern that you requested hope that it helps. One hint that I might add is ,After you get the location for the eyes, drill a small hole straight thru to the other eye. This gives you a location to measure from. If you have any questions please ask and I will try to answer them. Merle

Thanks Merle,
The pattern shows sparse feathers, so I ASSUME they are only to indicate the size and direction of the feathers. Is that right?
Thanks for your help, I sent a PM before I found this.
Wanda

Hi Wanda,Yes that is right about the feathers. It gives you a good indication to the size and location of the feathers. You sound like you are very interested in carving the Eagle right,so I'll send you the artical tomorrow and i'm sure it will help you. If you have any questions you know where I'm at. Merle

Thanks again Merle! As you saw from my PM, my street is Eagles Lane. My husband is also a DAV. So yes, I am very drawn to Eagles, plus I am trying to donate sticks to the local VA Hospital for those (like me) that are too proud to use a cane but will use a stick and especially one that is cool like an Eagle.

Merle, That is a nice Eagle Pattern. Better than my drawn out one. I like the way the feathers are on this one.

Wildhare, A lot of satisfaction in carving an Eagle cane topper and donating it to a Vet.
