An outstanding job.I was told that flying birds a harder to carve. My teacher has been carving birds for over 25 years and almost all his are perched.I love humming birds and would like to someday carve one of each of the over 300 kinds there are. Got 1/2 doz on the work table now and 4 of them are in flight. I think you might have the same book about carving hummers that I have. Keeeeeeeeeep them coming. Duncan

Your first???? man is that ever good for a first attempt........can't wait to see more, the feather detail is nice considering it is on such a small subject, not overpowering or too deep. Bravo!

hello everyone, my name is Recia, and i live in N Ca. i really like carving, and like hummingbirds. while we travel up the coast i always stop and buy a hummer. does anyone know of a video that might help me get started.
