My uncle in Blioxi Miss. just sent me a e-mail that really makes us woodcarvers feel proud .. I just had to share it with you guys and gals .. The Title of the Pictures are " Five live oak trees in the median on U.S. Highway 90 in Blioxi Miss. that died as a result of Hurricane Katrina received new life in the hands of some very skilled Chainsaw Carving Artist " I a'm going to have to do the pictures in two post .. so here they are . hope you enjoy them.. Ia'm sorry you will have to wait for the pictures to open .. but their well worth it .. Last edited by gene-messer; 04-04-2007 at 02:01 PM. |

One more note, I could be wrong, but I believe those trees are on highway 90 in Gulfport rather than Biloxi......... Doesn't really make any difference unless somebody wanted to go see them.... |

What a great tribute to the life that those trees spent by the coast, and to see something so good come out of something so bad, thanks for posting Gene.
