Default What are you carving ?

I am not too inspired at the moment, just carving a figure of an old man, it is still pretty rough.

I put three carving in the county fair last week and won three blue ribbons. They broke one of the carvings, so I have spent the last week trying to put it back together so it doesn't look like I did and put it in the county fair this week. This is only the second year that I had the nerve to do this and I am planning to go to the State Fair with a couple carvings next week (if I don't chicken out).

I am currently working on a pintail from the front of the Wildfowl Carving magazine, Summer 2002, The Last Supper from Scrollsaw Workshop, Spring 2002 and some intarsia roosters.
