Default Yellowstone river bark hunting

I recently went to a certain part of the river with the dogs to look for cottonwood bark.It is tough looking where people are previlent. My dogs came across a homeless person ccamping in a not camping area.It looked like an area to let the dogs just run w/out a leash but they found him.He and I confronted each other and it turned out ok.It was just an area you would not expect to find someone drying their cloths on a clothes hanging line in winter. He was friendly but I decided to go the opposite way of his camp and found a downed cottonwood tree.It had great great thick veins of thick weather beaten bark .I plan on going back to get some good pieces before is used for fire wood.Don't get me wrong, there is plenty of fire wood for any camper out there but the state does not alow over night camping. When I go back I will take some pics. of the rims that over look the Yellowstone River.
