All's fine here in FL.....looking at your rainfall I'm going to try to have the powers that be skip FL all together with the next hurricane and send at least half of it right to you! You pray for it and I and the rest of FL will too! Can't we all just get along and share the rain?!!! And the wind while we're sharing! But not the tidal surges!!!! We'd be awfully drowned it our tidal surge reached you! Get your own!

| | Re: Ya Know Ya're A Woodcarver When ... Ok Sue,
DId you send all that rain east to Baltimore. I went out to the shed to carve for awhile at about 6:30. I have had to wait out the storms to get back to the house. I just stuffed the carving I finished under my shirt and made a run for the house. Should we start working on an Arc. Wheres Noah when we need him.

| | Re: Ya Know Ya're A Woodcarver When ... Goody, my apoligizes for not stopping the rain here in Frederick County. I tried but those clouds just slipped through my fingers. We've had four inches this week alone and are sitting in 90 degrees heat and 97 percent humidity.

| | Re: Ya Know Ya're A Woodcarver When ... I remember when I was about 10, I got a set of exacto knives and was realy excited. I was carving a whale and slipped and cut my finger, dad was helping me get it cleaned up and I was bawling the whole time and wasn't bad. "I don't care about the cut," I sobbed, "will I still be able to carve?"

| | Re: Ya Know Ya're A Woodcarver When ... And you know you're a woodcarver when you cut yourself and your first concern is whether or not it got on your carving...and you wrap your cut finger in your shirttail while you try to remove the blood spot on your carving BEFORE you go look for a bandaid.
Deborah, I was in your neighborhood Sunday night, but I lost your phone number and couldn't call--thought about heading south of the interstate and sticking my head out the car window and just hollering for you. AND you can bet your boots I wouldn't have looked to see if your coffee table was dusted. Just buy lower wattage light bulbs for the rooms where company goes so they can't see the dust in the dim light...
