She talked about that some time ago, when they were doing the article. I'm really happy for her, and I hope the article and our comments reinforce how much we care for her and admire her art. Mike

Might I offer my congratulations to Terri! Well done ma'm!

Your work is becoming quite famed and you deserve all the of the praise associated with it, it is really quite exceptional . Your efforts inspire Terri, simply inspire. Colour, form, shape and style, quite a wonderful combination for a carver.

Keep up the good work, I look forward to reading the article.

Bob

Oh man, now she's a bookie!
Now I need to go out and buy another book....where do I find it? Â*How much? Â*

It's soooo cool that Teri is finally getting the widespread recognition for her fantastically innovative Â*carving...and to think....we knew her when!

Way to go Teri. Â*We're so proud of you.

Donna - my copy of Santa Claus Collection arrived by mail ...automatic subscription from BH&G as it does every year.
The price is $29.95 + very high shipping. (it's worth it)
I think you can find it at Michaels, Ben Franklin, Hobby Lobby or places like that, with no shipping. (Does Michael's weekly '40% off one item' coupon work on books?)
Last night I searched BH&G's site and it wasn't there yet.

BTW --- in a feature on a Santa collector, a group of Santas was shown and though unidentified ---- one sure looks like the work of Owlhaus, but I'm not certain.

Congratulations
I am sure that you should raise your prices now. I have always thought that you were not getting enough for those wonderful works of art and now I am convinced.

Wow, thank you so much...Nancy...and everyone here. Your words of encouragement and support mean so much to me, as always. I'm just grateful...very grateful...that BH&G chose my work to include in such a great book. It's a wonderful honor, and also quite humbling that what I do here in my little cave seems to be touching other people. Wow. Really, just wow.

I do have some copies of the book available on my website - http://www.teriembrey.com/gallery1.html. I guess it's hard to find unless you're on their 'collector' list with a regular subscription for each year. I've learned they plan it that way to keep each issue a 'collector's item'. They really are a great publishing house to work with, though - as terrified of the whole thing as I was, they handled me with kid gloves and have been extremely supportive in referring their peers to my work, as well.

Anyway....I haven't been around much lately because I've had my head buried in work and 'stuff' that passes for it. I've been missing it, though - the comraderie, sharing of information and ideas here is priceless.

K...I'll shut up now. Thank you for being my friends.

Teri
