Default wounded warriors project

In the july -aug Chip Chats there is an artical on carving canes for our service men and women. Our club The mohawk valley arts and woodcarvers in conjuction with the Hudson valley woodcarvers club are carving cane heads to be given to the veterans. The HVWC will turn the shafts and they will be decorated with military emblems meaningfull to the particular vet receiving the cane. That being said, this is my contribution. It is bass wood acrvilics and stained the handle with golden oak, then a coat of feed and wax. comments are welcome.
