Smile Woohooo... I found the knife I needed!

For months, I've been looking for a special knife that would be good for carving the inside of my shoes. Today, I found it at Cape Forge! Not only did I find the knife (bent blade) that I am looking for, but Karyn (proprietor) told me if that knife did not work for this particular project, she will modify this knife or custom make the knife I need - that's her guarantee to assure I am satisfied that the knife will do the job. So, whatever investment I make regarding this knife, I believe it will be worth it. It was nice to actually talk with the person who makes the knife and not just a retailer. Fortunately, I caught her today before they were packing up to go to a show in Ocean City, MD. Here's the website if anyone is interested in taking a look at her stuff: www.capeforge.com. I've bought knives from her in the past and have found her to be honorable in her guarantee and honest in representation of her products. She's also going to modify the handle for my short hands! Now, I am so excited as I await my "new toy" that's on the way!

Hmmm... Wonder if I sent her some of my failed attempts she'd be able to make them realistic? Have to give'er a holler and ask. Thanks for the link.

Ain't it great when you know you have a new toy on the way? Makes ya feel like a kid on Xmas morning again, eh?

I won a CF knife at the Fox Chapel Block Party, I had been eye'ing them for a long time. I am very impressed with them and their product. I bought another knife AND a drawknife while in OC for the Ward show.

Nice folks, great work...
