Default Woodspirit in Birch

Here is another style of the woodspirits I've been carving for my awaiting customers. He's made of birch and stands around 4.5 feet tall.

I think he is just wonderful. I really love your style of carvings and it is evident that you strive to do better each time. I never get tired of looking at your faces especially the eyes you really have captured them to perfection.

Thanks everyone. There are a number of things I would do differently next time with this one. I used too much paint on the face, and I would add another column of the whispey looking hair on each side as they look too narrow left as they are. That's what I find helpful from viewing carvings with pictures, it helps you see things from a different perspective.
