Default The Wooden Wonderland Show in Tyler Texas
Got a chance to drop by for a few hours returning from east Texas to the Tyler Texas Carving Show .. About 30 carvers showing and I got to see my buddy Dee Gipson from the board .. Had a great time talking and seeing all the great carvings .. Took pictures and ask just about every participant if they were regulars on The WCI message board .. Not a one of them knew about it .. They all had the magazine .. but most had never heard of the message board or been on it .. So I filled them in and gave them the computer website .. Wow .. they kind of shocked me with their answers .. but alot were older folks who didnt use computers much .. But they know now .. should have had cards with the website on me ..

You got a great eye there Kenny .. your exactually right .. I got to meet Mrs Payne and her husband and they were wonderful and friendly carvers .. All the carvers were ..

Great looking carvings there, Gene. Looks like they had a great show. Thanks for sharing the photos with the rest of us.

It'll be nice to see some of the carvers there join the message board.
