Default Wooden Flutes

I wasn't sure of where to put this post but here it goes. These are some of the wooden flutes that I have made. Walnut, Poplar, Basswood. Others have been done in Butternut and Cherry. I am shaping the outsides with a spokeshave and a cabinet scraper. Finish is several coats of shellac, then a good rub down. Thanks for looking and as always,
Carve On,
Kadiddle

Looks like the judges think they are great Kadiddle, so do I. Hope they sound as good as they look.

Nicely done. They are very attractive.
Can you describe how to make one?

Tom,Ken,
Thanks for the look.Glad you enjoyed them. I usually enter at least one new one in our county fairs art exhibit each year. Yes Tom they do sound good. Ken it took about a year before a good sounding one that I was happy with. It was a great journey learning to make one and I have met some very nice people. That was the fun part. Alot of trial and error. Learned on each one, even still.
Carve On,
Kadiddle
