| | Woodcraft Santa Carving Contest Woodcraft is taking votes for "peoples choice " for the entries into the santa carving contest...you see the entries at http://www.woodcraft.com/santavoting/ my entry is titled "News Flash-low flying" lol, was a lot more to that but it didn't make it into the site, supposed to have said "News Flash-low flying sled hit north pole" Santa had to much to eat and overloaded the sled and couldn't get enough altitude to clear the north pole, so he flew into it, tipped it some and still being sleepy after all that grub, he decided to take a nap and let his assistant elf and the reindeer do the repairs! Unfortunately there is more there than you can photograph, there are tools by the elf and reindeer but you can't see them in the picture. There are some good entries in there.... would appreciate your vote , but would understand if you picked another, but either way, its fun to see that many carvings in one place of santa claus |

| | Re: Woodcraft Santa Carving Contest I like the idea and the detail was great Hi Ho. I was also torn between santa and the boys and santa carving and yours. There were lots of nice entries. The detail on yours won me over though. Ron |

| | Re: Woodcraft Santa Carving Contest Thanks for the heads up Dave. Yep, Difficult time figureing out the best on. I narrowed it down to 5, of course Dave, yours was one of the 5. Santa carving, Santa and the boys, and Santa's other workshop and the one from Tulsa, St Nicholas. Going back to view them more
Dave yours had much details as did others but liked your setup. The St Nick from Tulsa, well most of it was natural and loved the folds of his coat. Santa carving had a lot of detail and loced the stance Santa was in carving. Santa and the Boys, well anyone liking pups or dogs is neat in my books. Santa's othe rworkshop was down right funny and sometimes can relate to that pose.
Hard to figure out which is the best.
