Heh heh - actually - I kinda like that one just as it stands.

Much as I try to be even handed - there is a definitely place in the world for folks just stating it as they see it. Least you know right where you stand with em. :-)

Man I LOVE this place.

OK,
I will try to make this not quite so confusing,
many years ago , my Grandfather, who was and was called the Judge,
was walking in a hallway in a Chicago hotel,
one of the men with him said"well judge we will see you later", a woman who was standing nearby, rushed up to my grandfather and ask"are you the Judge?" he replied 'Yes ,I am'
with that the woman half dragged him into a large room and was telling him how late he was,
It was a cat show, they sat him down and got things under way, there he sat with 4 other"judges", at the end of the time , he had convinced 2 of the other judges to vote for his choice for"best of show".
he was a man loaded with tact, diplomacy, and convincing smile,
when every one was leaving the room's the lady said , "thank you Judge, {Jones], my grandfather replied, O. I am judge Carnes, \ the man did not like cats even a little bit, but he pulled it off ,sorry to say i did not get any of that gene,
but i am a better carver, i know because he never got his hands dirty,
true story, and here comes the wife,
SAM

thanks, guess you got the point, just cause you are one that don't make you one,
to help an Ole rookie out, how does one become a judge[ of woodworking ??/]
do you get a decoder ring, and free parking??
really where how , when, do you become a show judge,
i am sure they don't grab someone in the hall way.

Sam, In answer to your question; I think wood carving judges permits are given in CRACKER JACK boxes.
