Much as I try to be even handed - there is a definitely place in the world for folks just stating it as they see it. Least you know right where you stand with em. :-)
Man I LOVE this place.

| | Re: Woodcarving-Who Writes These Rules Anyway? OK, I will try to make this not quite so confusing, many years ago , my Grandfather, who was and was called the Judge, was walking in a hallway in a Chicago hotel, one of the men with him said"well judge we will see you later", a woman who was standing nearby, rushed up to my grandfather and ask"are you the Judge?" he replied 'Yes ,I am' with that the woman half dragged him into a large room and was telling him how late he was, It was a cat show, they sat him down and got things under way, there he sat with 4 other"judges", at the end of the time , he had convinced 2 of the other judges to vote for his choice for"best of show". he was a man loaded with tact, diplomacy, and convincing smile, when every one was leaving the room's the lady said , "thank you Judge, {Jones], my grandfather replied, O. I am judge Carnes, \ the man did not like cats even a little bit, but he pulled it off ,sorry to say i did not get any of that gene, but i am a better carver, i know because he never got his hands dirty, true story, and here comes the wife, SAM |
