Default Wood in the UK

Can any Uk carvers tell me a good place to get wood blanks for carving?
I am a newbie and going to be ordering Flexcut knife set from Axminster but just cant find a good place for wood in the uk

I've gotten wood from Yandles before. It was very nice working with them. I think they are in Yorkshire, but not sure about that.

I will have a look see if I can find them. I found these guys today they have LIme carving blocks from Rutlands.co.uk

To be honest as I am new to carving not sure what I really want

In the Classifieds section of WoodCarving Magazine, there is no small number of outfits that sell carving wood in the UK.

I am in Cambridgeshire about 10 miles from Cambridge city itself..I just started another post on Basswood as I cant seem to find that in the uk ??
