Default Wood tomorrow!

Tomorrow we have to fell 2 100+ y/o Sweet Chestnut trees for a variety reasons.

Any suggestions for selection and use of SOME of the wood.

Presumably a straight section, free of side branches. They MAY be able to plank it, but seasoning is about 1" per year.

Green projects? Sweet Chestnut has quite a pronunced grain and is not known as a carving wood. Bowls perhaps, but I don't have/want a lathe.
