hi all-not sure that i shouldn't post on some woodworking board,but here goes. i have been offered some wood it is supposed to come from S.America-it has a verydistingtive grain from black to very light grey very hard,not suitable for carving but the look is so attrative its hard to pass up. the person offering the wood claims its something called- royalwood anyone heard of it.
