Default Wood Bleach Please HELP

I want to bleach my new project but I don't know what to varnish/ wax it with so it will not go yellow. Its a doll so will be played with and used but it does not have to be child safe as its not a toy. I want a matt finish. I have not used wax before but don't want any transfer when the doll is dressed.Any Ideas would be great
thank u

I don't know about the bleaching part; the skin on mine is left the natural basswood color. But I use Deft Satin laquer spray or Miniwax Satin polyurethane wiped on ( and then wiped off immediately with a paper towel). After it's dry, I buff it a bit with a brown pape bag so it feels smooth.

Depends on what kind of wood. I have used the two-part wood bleach on butternut with really nice results (beard of a civil war soldier). If you're using basswood, why bleach?

Hey,BUn BUn you could try a whittle sodium hypochlorite or sodium hydroxide witch is "grannys lye soap" or my own favorite oxalic acid. this works real good. as far as a finish if it was mine i would put a hand rub finish on her.

Bun, you might try some very thin acrylic. Build up the color to what you want, then use a liquid wax to buff after it's dry. This is a little different from bleach, but lime is fairly light as well. Just my 2 pence )
