Default Wizards Wands

The neighbor girls (4 and 5 yrs old) saw a Harry Potter movie asked me to make them wands. All of the Harry Potter wands are turned, and since I don't turn, I decided to whittle a couple for them. Tree limbs and scraps were the basis. The whittlin, just foolin around. The two that I made for the neighbor girls have turned into "all their friends wanting one". Mothers started tryin to buy them from me. Who'd ever thunk someone would buy one of these! They are fun and quick.

I'd buy one! I can see those being popular with little kids - even big kids.

Great work Patrick. I know turned ones are very popular and these are even cooler I think. Nice job.

Watch out ole friend .. your going to have neighbor kids from everywhere wanting one of them ..Iam afraid you have started something you might not be able to stop .. but what fun it will be watching those kids faces light up ..

Way to go Tom, they look pretty neat. How long are you making them? I have a young grand daughter that would probably like one herself, maybe I'll give it a go.
