Default the Wizarddddd~

I had a long piece of drift wood/kinda a log really. After cutting it into several different sizes I had the top part which really wasnt worth even trying to burn or very less to carve.

Butttttt I like my junky wood and carved this olde Wizard in this old half rotten piece of drift wood. Hes 3 1/2 X 19 inches, thats not counting his two buck teeth! LOL

Hes got kinda a rabbit look about himself and Im sure glad he didnt drop by our home during Easter to hide any eggs!

Carvings like this are practice work for me,God I hope I get better!! LOL

Your thoughts are always welcome. Forrest

Nothing more challenging than working material that may not cooperate. This fellow appears to have a touch of folk art in his looks. I always like your paint job so what ever comes out of the wood tends to be great. Nice carving.

Once again, I am in awe of you....how do you DO these things so fast??? You just finished the honey bears yesterday, and here you are today with a whole new carving...in found rotted wood, yet. Great job on his face and beard, Forrest....of course your painting skills put your own mark on him. Another wonderful piece! Bonnie
