I love to carve where the wood has such a contrast from sapwood to heartwood, like this is a great example. As I said looks like sunscreen lol, Thanks for sharing.

Our frost has come already! this guy is amazing! Look at those cheeks-he totally looks like the Harbinger of winter! An amazing job, and such detail...I know how hard Mulberry is...this took lots of love, not just patience! Congratulations-thanx for sharing!

Thanks Keoma, I didn't know it frosted in heaven. I got to say, I find that a little disappointing... snicker, snicker.
He won't look complete until the snow and ice blow onto his face. Then he will truly be a silent witness to the harshness of winter.

lol we had our first frost back in August, it got down to 10 degrees last night and it will be almost as cold tonight. Has he started to check yet? also how is his girlfriend coming along?
