Hi Gang,
This is a large white cedar carving I did in Kapuskasing Ontario Canada. It was a private commission at a residence. The day I finished it was a snowy rainy day so they were going to stain it after I left. You really cant see the detail in the carving because it is so white. The carving is approximatly 10 ft high and 2 ft in diameter. I posted a picture of it on picture trail in the woodspirit album.

Hi-Ho, you might know this better as Arbor Vitae, that's another name for the northern, or eastern white cedar. I believe there is also an Atlantic White Cedar, but we don't get that here in Michigan or up in Canada.
