Default whimsical House

Hey all,
I tried carving a whimsical out of a peice of hedge apple bark but had no luck. I found the bark to be very flaky. I don't have any cootwood bark and being a little on the impatient side waiting to get some cotten wood I tried to do one out of a 1 x 10 peice of bass wood. The pictures are not the greatest been having issues with the camera lately. I ended up painting it but if I had it to do over I would have used a stain on it instead. Any comments are always welcome.

Safe Carving and God Bless,

Mark

I think it's great, and I really like the paint on it, even better than if it were stained. Nice job.

Thank you all for taking the time to view my carving. I think I will try another one at some time and do the stain only.

Thanks for the comments and the help,

Mark
