Default Which side up?

This carved cedar and fused glass pendant has me asking which side goes up? Pointy or flat side up?
Let me know which side you think looks best up.
Thanks Wanda

I sell more to women but the cedar and glass seems to appeal to both. Okay, I'll ask. Which way is right for boys? for girls?

I'd opt for the pointy side down, it kind of looks more energetic that way. It looks a bit like a heart too, kind of a familiar shape.. Unless you wish to avoid that association, of course. On the other hand, with the pointy side up, I think it looks more calm and stable... I think what the answer really depends on is who is going to wear it as tastes and styles differ.

If I remember the da Vinci Code properly (saw it on TV a couple weeks ago), apparently the "V" shape is supposed to represent the female, so point down would be for the women.

Hi Wanda, I voted for pointy side up especially if it's going to be a pen. If a pendant then I would prefer pointy side down. Either way it's a little jewel!

Thanks to all for the replies. What an idea Kathy a pin instead of a pendant! How about my adding a large jump ring for an eyeglass holding pin?
I was so fixated on making it a pendant I overlooked making it a pin.
Thanks Wanda

Okay, so far the poll is running 50/50. So I guess you guys can't decide which side is up either. I guess I will take it to the show and let whomever buys it decide.
