| | | Hey Art... I'm pretty sure I've got a piece or two of your bark. You have had a wood booth at the Spokane or Tri-cities shows in the past haven't you? What's new or popular in the last few years to carve on bark, anything? Will you be at the Tri-cities show in March?
Looks like the sun is trying to burn thru some of our clouds here too..yay! |

| | Re: Wet, Whittlin' Wed. Â*Daily post, Feb 18th Toycarver, In the past mostly Indian, Mountian men, theme carvings. Lately, I have seen Santas, Reliefs of castles, buildings, etc. I think, it is up to the individual carver themselves. I havn't had the pleasure of carving in bark yet. I guess I should as we have a lot of cootonwood around here in SEK. |

| | | Re: Wet, Whittlin' Wed. Â*Daily post, Feb 18th Sorry about the weather toycarver..... today was the first for sunshine here in quite some time. We've had snow, rain, sleet, etc for way too many days. It may get into the mid fifties today, so what mess is left on the ground should be gone soon.
I almost finished my base for the hunter and dog last night. I just have a little detail to go. Everything else is ready to paint.
I did paint a few small caricature busts that I had sitting around. I do these as 'exercise' mostly, but a couple looked good enough to keep! |

Working on two cedar spirits, three hiking staffs Cedar, Balsum and Sumac and still working on the santa and the bear.
